Valvetronic - How it looks inside the engine.

As i had one engine with Valvetronic lying in the garage I’did some pictures from inside the engine of how it actually looks because that system is rather interesting compared to what we gearheads are used to. After that explanation from Engineering Explained, you’ll find many familiar pieces.

Sorry for dirty engine, but it has seen many kilometers. It is from E46 318i N42 engine with one of the earlyest Valvetronic implementations from 2001.
