This Guy Crashed While Livestreaming Himself At 116mph

A 20-year-old man from Pawtucket almost killed himself after a livestreamed high-speed drive ended in a brutal crash

As if weaving in and out of traffic at speeds of up to 116mph wasn’t bad enough, 20-year-old Onasi Olio-Rojas thought it’d be a great idea to livestream his reckless antics on Facebook. Unsurprisingly, it didn’t end well, with the young Pawtucket resident slamming into the back of a dump truck during at around 11:30 on Wednesday.

He was said by witnesses to be driving his Honda Civic erratically, before spinning and hitting the lorry on Dean Street in Providence.

His condition was initially said to be ‘critical’, however he has since been upgraded to ‘fair’. Hopefully he’ll make a full recovery, and learn from his mistakes…

Needed more down force on that last weave. I’m sure a nice ebay spoiler would suit his civic perfectly.

Mugen spoilers will add more BHP than a regular spoiler.

This is why America has the worst system for attaining a license. Idiots like this are able to pass their road test but good drivers could fail because they did 22 mph in a 20 mph zone…

It’s like everything else today… people are taught for specific tests and once the test is over, everything is forgotten.

Because I’m sure that’s how he drove when he did his driving test…

Believe me brother, there’s much worse. The school in Bulgaria is 30hours two written exams and the driving exam. That’s it. Someone who has never gotten in a car gets behind the wheel for 30 hours and then they are handed their licenses. The majority don’t know where to put the oil let alone drive on the highway or at night because no such lessons are included…

I love when people turn something small into a national problem lol

I got my license with 6 sessions with a drivers ed teacher and then took the driving test. I didn’t even do class time. Our system should only be studying on following laws, but on how to control a vehichle. In wiscosnin where I live, I know very few young people that haven’t been in an accident thats weather related. It’s a shame because one can pass with 0 points off on their test and still not know what to do when it snows or rains!

If you’re going to do a top speed run, on a public highway of all things, don’t do it in the middle of the day. Wait until nobody is around, and find a straight stretch.

So will insurance pay for the damage or not in this case?

My guess is it probably won’t because he was driving to endanger. Probably a clause somewhere in the policy that voids it in cases like this.
