Is it possible to have a supercharger and individual throttle bodies on a 1.6 Miata? If so, would it actually have a benefit?

Yes, it would be incredibly torque-ey, power would be instant and it would sound incredible. It is, however, more expensive than a turbo ITB setup.
Would I need a stronger transmission?
