Here's my 1976 Suzuki Fronte Coupe

This is the predecessor to the Whizzkid. It has a 360cc 2 stroke engine in the back. Engine is in desperate need of a rebuild and the gear shift feels like stirring a screwdriver through a bucket of bolts. Parts are damn near impossible to find but I’m working on it. Might mean putting another engine in, it’ll have to be another 2 stroke of course. Snowmobile swap maybe? My main source of inspiration is Monster Tajima’s cars so I have some more ambitious ideas for it. Though it’s so original and rare, that might be sacriledge. It’s my dream car, it’ll be with me for life.

If you find yourself in New Zealand you’re welcome to take it for a spin. Provided I have it running at the time.

Wow. The angle between the hood and the windshield is very wide.
I really like how it looks.

Cobra RS

It was slow enough already with just a 360cc engine, surely with the added drag from the lights and roof rack it moves backwards when you press the accelerator?

Yeah, but when the wind is behind you it really flys!

It never liked the motorway to begin with, and the rack was mostly for the one car show. Should be able to handle the motorway better once I fix up the motor and cooling system.
