What a way to spend a week with these cars
What a way to spend some time with two very special and original Ex Works Integrale’s.
TO 13721T was driven by Didier Auriol at the 1992 1000 Lakes Rally and then followed by Rally Australia and Rallye España Catalunya Costa Brava. His victory at the 1000 Lakes secured Lancia’s sixth and final Constructers Championship. For the 1993 Season the car was used by Jolly Club for Dario Cerratoto use in the later part of the Italian Championship at events like the Sanremo, Targa Florio, and Rally Piancavallo. MRT then aquired the car and used it in a Marlboro livery in Hungary for László sen. Ranga. From 1995 onwards the car went into private ownership and continued to be used up until 1997 where the car was restored back to Martini colours.
TO 23905P was originally a 16V built for Juha Kankkunen to use at the 1990 1000 Lakes rally before being passed down to Jolly Club for Dario Cerrato and Robert Droogmans. The car was then sold to HF Grifone who continued to rally the car and sent it to CECOMP to be converted to Deltona, this being the first car to be completed and bares the number CECOMP 0001. It then bared a striking Marlboro livery for Luis Monzon before being put into the traditional black and gold colours of Grifone. After a short spell with the Deila brothers the car arrived in the UK through Walkers Garage where it continued to be rallied up until 2006. Soon the car will return to its famous colours once again.
A big thank you to the owner for allowing us access to the cars and it won’t be long until we see them again!
