Self-built kart made out of beer crate

An old friend of my dad built an awesome kart. The bodywork is a beer crate with additional can holders. The chassis is a self welded ultra-light aluminium one 😂
It’s got wheels from a handcart and is powered by a 2-stroke engine ripped off a moped. The air filter is a beer can and it’s fitted with a loud racing exhaust, of course.
The combination of those high-end components accelerates this ride up to a speed of 30mph (~50 km/h) and made me end up in hospital.

Still an awesome kart, pain goes away eventually, but the story stays.
