Volvo V50 - Great cheap car?

So this in my short first car review i will talk about Volvo V50. So lets began with shortly basic info. So basicly V50 is V40 and the car isn’t now in production (Ended in 2012), because new V40 removed it. Firstly V50 was showed in Bolognas carshow 2003. And in same year it replaced older V40. To his older model V40, V50 was more save with new Volvo’s new chassis build “Volvo Intelligent Vechile Architecture”.

Engine and Technology

So V50 have R4 or R5 engine. You can get it in Diesel or Petrol engine. From petrol engine there are 1.6 R4, 1.8 R4 , 2.0 R4 and 2.4 R5. Also there is T5 wich is R5 20V Turbo enginend it products more than 200HP. Diesel engines are Turbo-charged and options are 1.6D R4, 2.0 R4 and R5 D3 and D4. So depents of engine you will save some money to your pocket because with small engines u can get 3.9 l/100km. So technology. Because car isn’t new you don’t get touchscreen or other cool stuff. But with some models u get small screen wich comes up from dash. But pretty sure technolgy is good as always Volvo’s had.

V50 as first car

Well nowdays used V50 is very cheap. Prices from 3 000€ - 12 000€. So as first car to get V50 isn’t impossible. But in my opinion V50 is one of great cars to be as first car. It is comfortable, spacy, kinda small luxurious car if u buy business pack and good strong car. If you ask me i haven’t drive these cars or don’t have experience but i recommed if u gonna have one u should do basic engine check. Well this ends ny VERY short car review about V50.
