Free stuff can be fun too - #NFSHeatography

The last update for Need For Speed Heat brought along a free car for everybody above lvl. 20 which is this 2019 Aston Martin DB11 Volante. Now I would never have bought an Aston in NFS because I want to beat the game with heavily modified (weird) cars like S13s, a Pontiac Firebird and others.

I tried to modify the Aston but this was all I could do to it. It has a different rear bumper, carbon-clad exhaust tips, nicer deep-dish wheels, grey brake calipers and air suspension. That is about it really.

Not how I want to play NFS with so many cool body kits on offer.

I do not think the air suspension is helping the looks of the car here. It needed to be lower and on larger rims (they are as big as I can make them) for it to have a good effect. As it sits now I might as well leave it off.

I think it turned out quite nice but the best thing about it is how it handles. It drifts much like my Mercury Cougar but it is way more composed and feels more comforting. I use it for the time trial events (stock) and at level 207 it beats cars with as higher levels as 240 by 15 seconds. Sure they are not that competent but still.

I also got it to beat a drift score without a single modded part on it. On the second attempt!

My plans are to write a review about NFS Heat since it is not as easy to do as with Forza. Doing one about Horizon 4 is not hard since 95% of it is great. Heat is not like that. Here it is more difficult. Therefore I also did not want to write a review after only playing five hours of it. Maybe I can do it next week.

See you later,
