Nice to see the forum-like setup for these car-specific communities. Might I add…
-Vanos seals wear out on M52TU and M54 models (525i, 528i, 530i)
-Valley pan gasket on M62 models (540i)
-Vapor seals on doors tend to leak due to bad sealer from the factory, leading to soaked carpeting and carpet liner
-DISA valve fails, causing decreased power, squealing sound in engine bay (M52/TU, M54)
-Tailgates tend to rust on tourings
-Front cupholders break
-A/C condensation accumulation leads to nasty smelling air
