Farewell, Carthrottle.

Can’t help but look back to when i joined in 2016… Carthrottle was in its golden age and joining then was my first experience actually communicating with other car guys. I guess you could say that the gearhead in me grew up here. Just to think I went from a Charger Hellcat fanboy to having 3 Subarus is soley because of this site.

Ever since Adnan sold CarThrottle however (not saying it was his fault, because it definitely wasn’t), the site just hasn’t been the same. I think we were all expecting this eventually, and its been a long time coming… but I guess its better to end it than leaving the community on life support.

I won’t be gone from the face of the earth however. If you want to keep in touch with some of the “CTzens” (lmao remember that), Olds Alero has some good discords that you guys should check out.

But its been nice coming back on here for one last time. Typing this reminds me of when I used to write blog posts lol. Anyways, its been a memorable 5 years of being on this site, ill never forget all the friends I’ve made and the things they taught me in being a car guy. Also im pretty stoked that i ended out with 69k points lmao, Hopefully ill see you guys soon!
