I am getting a mk 1 mx5 for my first car but I need abs - please tell me which ones have it !

Abs is very rear in England I think, but i would say start hunting down Eunos Mx5s they will more likely have abs over uk spec ones. Mines is an Eunos but doesn’t have abs but have seen some with.

I don’t believe ABS could’ve been an optional,so look for later model ones. I’ll check.

It was an option, on most ltd’s it was stock
The ‘95 M-Edition has ABS. Not sure about other models/years.
Some certain editions of NAs have abs. I think NBs have it standard (could be wrong though).
I think it was standard on the later models my 99 doesn’t have it

But you can really easily test it. Just slam the brakes 😁 (there are several ways to see if it has abs)
Theres no specific year car that has abs, it was an optionally extra chosen by the owner. you can tell by looking at a specs sticker on the edge of the driver’s door.
