I’ve heard that its a great car.
Does anyone make replica Racing Puma widebody?
Also don’t these cars have rust issues?
I don’t know about the widebody kits, this is one is just for the track so I don’t care about the looks to much
And yes, I had to weld about 7-8 rust holes. You can see one in the picture of the interior
interesting project car choice props for that
Thanks! It was the lightest and quickest car I could afford on a really small budget haha
Beastlyy
I never heard of a ford puma. Sounds like an interesting vehicle.
sweet! Zetec engines are great
Nice to know!
I love seeing oddballs like these being given a purpose. Good luck with the build!
Sweet man, love it already
ahh the 1.7 :D i also was looking at Puma’s but here only avajable 1.4 or 1.7 …but i wanted 1.6 because i want to participate streetcar sprint events. and 1.4 are underpowered in 1600class and 1.7is poop in 2000 class because all bmw’’s there is. btw is that nasty rust spot near passanger seat?
As far as i know, the 1.6 is pretty slow. Is it any good in the 1600 class?
And if you mean that brown spot in the middle of that light brown space near the passenger seat - that is just dirt and leftovers from the removal of the tar mat. But there was a rust hole next to it, where you can see the metal plate welded onto it. Exactly the same spot on the drivers side as well
That’s a cool car never seen one before good luck and have fun with it
