Catted vs non catted front pipe

I was wanting to replace my front pipe, I currently have the invidia n1 installed and I’m wanting even better performance and better sound. I was looking at the berk high flow cat and the berk cat delete. How much of a sound difference does each one have and what do they sound like? I’m also open to different front pipe suggestions also.

Catless will be louder. If you retain the oem exhaust manifold, it won’t be radically louder, but it will be louder. If you do not have resonator(s) in the front pipe, it will be raspy- especially with aftermarket header.

I would like to get a aftermarket header eventually but how raspy would you say it would sound

Very raspy with aftermarket header. My front pipe is a JDL with two resonators. I had a catted, resonated one, but the core kept coming loose. I switched to dual resonators and could not be happier. I’m supercharged with a header on e85. Straight through front pipe sounds bad, in a bad way.

notice any performance gains going from catted-resonated FP to the dual resonated catless FP?
