Engine/Clutch/ESP problem on Citroen c3

Hi everyone, my engine has recently started acting weird. When idling it often won’t even stay at 800 rpm, when i press pedal to the metal it won’t go over 3000-4000 rpm and i have to be sooo sooo slow and careful with the clutch. Other thing the traction control led stays on, meaning that it’s deactivated. If I press it to restore it, it says that there’s a problem with it. Last problem, it once happened that when I tried to turn on the car by turning the key, the engine couldn’t fire up: the engine did a first couple of revs (without firing, so moved by the battery), and the car went back off. Anyone knows anything about it? Could someone please help me? How much would it cost? Is it very bad?
Thank to everyone for your time and help, i’m looking forward to your replies!

Sounds like the engine might be in limp mode. Hook up a obd2 scanner and see what’s wrong.

Thank you very much! Do you know if it’s a difficult thing to repair? And do you know if the cause it’s the same also for the esp butto light not going away? Thanks in advance for the answer
