IMPROVING EXHAUST NOISE!

Hi wey!
I was decided to delete the mid-silencer on my Peugeot 206 1.6 to try to improve the noise it makes, but after web searching I get confused, first in the “names”, because there are a lot of people calling the exhaust components as Gods inspire each of them. Learned that in europe and america, muffler and silencer, are different things, then comes the resonator and then I decided to ask you and your experiences.
I want a better sound, but I don´t want too much noise. You know, the idea is to sound different/sporty but nothing ricey.
I won´t delete the CAT, cuz country regulations, I want your opinion to know what will sounds better, mid-silencer delete or muffler delete.
PLIZ HELP!

I deleted my Muffler, the ferthest back silencing component on my car.
I think it is very cool, I did need to get a resonator tip to kill the horrific drone.

Deleting mid will make your car louder with exactly the same sound. Deleting the muffler will make it louder with a lousy sound. Deleting both will make it very loud with a lousy sound.

Straight pipe it!

I would say delete the mid silencer and if you want the ‘muffler’ or rear silencer can be replaced by a better flowing one, a perforated straight pipe within a box filled with steel wool, but that can be expensive
