1996 Mitsubishi Lancer GL

Not reliable, not fast, not fun. Thankfully it’s not mine anymore. Formerly owned by my mum. Now sold.

• 2.0 (1998cc) N/A diesel
• 5 speed stick shift (surprisingly short and precise throw which I like)
• 68 donkeys, cause you ain’t gonna find no horses under this hood
• somewhere about 120-125Nm of torque
• the boot is useless for anything larger than a loaf of bread, but when it rains it converts itself into a pool
• very dull to drive
• faster than a 75hp Merc (But somehow less fun, probably because FWD? I have no idea.)
• long distance trips… …NOT FUN.
• fuel efficiency? Meh, around 6l/100km regular diesel, not too bad
• reliability? easy access to parts? NOPE.
• smooth engine? runs like a tractor, despite not taking tractor fuel

• #stancelife? ain’t got no stance, but it drives like it does, especially on our beautiful s**t quality Eastern Europe roads
