I’m not sure, but I don’t think so. It was mostly developed for American Police, while the Mercurys served as the consumer luxury variant.
actually the crown vic was developed as a high end ford, and the police interceptor was developed as the police version from that

Negative. It was sold in the US, in Canada and to much smaller extend in some Asian countries. For the UK the car there are to much changes necessary and Full Size cars weren’t selling good over there anyway.
