Caution! Wake Turbulence - The Mid Night Club

Basically recently I have had a sudden obsession with this Japanese, wangan, Bay Shore racer, street racing gang called the Mid Night Club. I first found out about them while on the AB-Flug website (www.abflug.jp) while looking at the Ver. 1 JZA80 bodykit. On the windscreen it had a sticker saying ‘Mid Night’. After this I got obsessed and decided to start researching.

Some of the most famous cars in The Mid Night Club, such as the AB-Flug JZA80, Devil-Z and the most famous Blackbird.

The Mid Night Club (I’ll call it TMNC from now on) was formed in 1987 racing the Bayshore route of the Shuto express way (I believe this influenced the name of the Japanese video game ‘Shutoku Battle’) between Tokyo and Yokohama. TMNC was disbanded in 1999 due to a Bosozoku influenced crash where 2 Bosozoku members sadly died and 8 people were hospitalized (6 were innocent. It was TMNC’s courtesy to immediately disband if ANYBODY was injured, racer or innocent.
They raced a variety of cars from Lamborghini Diablos to 300ZXs. Cars had to be modified to be able to sustain a speed of over 160mph for long periods of time, this means cars usually had around 600-700hp.

I have now given you a VERY brief overview of TMNC so I hope you know and understand my obsession.
