What’s The Most Expensive Car You ever had to work With?

Hey Larry! Love your videos man, I’ve been following for some time.

Recently I redid the underbody coating of my car and sadly some little drops made their way on the paint. Is there a way I could clean them without damaging the paint?

Yikes…this is tough. You need to carefully cut them off until you get close to the paint and then probably need to sand them out. I would need to see it in person to give you better advice, but that stuff is design to NOT come off…so you have an uphill battle ahead of you. :(

Hello!
What is the worst car you had to fix up? Like how bad condition was it in?

A police car that had transported someone who had been stabbed at a high school party. He was jabbed in the leg near some artery so it bled A LOT. And by the time it got to me, I had to wear hazmat clothing and gas mask and literally SCOOP the clotted blood out at first before it could be really detailed with a power washer. Literally. I still have nightmares LOL

How to save money on detailing in the long run?
How to make custom decals?

Detailing (in terms of other business) is heavily labor based. So the products really cost nothing in relation to other business. So instead of trying to “save pennies”, focus on creating more value for customers so you can charge “more dollars”. You will soon forget about the pennies. (Not encouraging you to pay too much or disregard costs, but too much focus in this industry is on cost cutting and not enough on building more value for the customer who is will to pay good money. food for thought)
Custom decals. I have no idea. Call a sign shop I guess?

Hey Larry what’s your best advice for washing a car in the heat and don’t have much access to shade I’m talking 90+ degrees Fahrenheit I live in Texas so it’s usually always like this.

Hey.
Do one panel at a time. Its super annoying. Bets bet is to do this at dawn or dusk. The extra time to do this in the heat is significant.

Hey. Not really. Patience is key. Make sure you really really really clean the paint surface and do eveything to avoid contaminants while your working otherwise you will ruin a huge sheet of material because of 1 overlooked mistake. Super annoying

Hey Larry, a big fan here!
Please tell me the best way to clean the wheel wells, it’s really nasty and takes a lot of time. Have APC and degreaser at hand. What’s the technique and products required?
With love, all the way from Pakistan! Yes we are good people :)

Hey bud. No doubt you are good peps. Thx for joining!
For wheels I use Brute wheel soap which is a bit strong than paint soap along with Plum wheel cleaner to chew up and release the brake dust. Then scrub with wheel woolie, wheel brush and or wheel wash mitt.

I’ve just started my own mobile detailing business and finally have all the gear I need to feel like I have a strong set of tools for most jobs. What advice would you have to someone just starting? I made some cards that I plan to pass out at shows like coffee and cars and I already have three clients lined up. I’m very excited to get into it! Learned a lot from your videos and others.
