AMMO Lather, Shag, and Mousse :) Armor all has been around forever. They are huge, but need a revamp of product selection nowadays. But who am I to give a billion dollar company advice. They are doing just fine. LOL

What’s the best way to deal with the emotional trauma of discovering a new scratch every time I detail my car?

Form a game plan to attack it, get it painted, or live with it. But do it fast. Either one. If you let it fester…then you will piss off your wife (LOL from experience) Take it as a learning experience

Pandora. Either comedy (patton oswalt, Louie CK, Jerry Seinfeld) or 90’s grunge rock. Pearl Jam and Rage Against the Machine are my fav bands. (child of the 90’s)

Can you give general tips for track enthusiast, especially for someone who lives and works at the Nürburgring? Cleaning stuff like cooked rubber, brakepads dust etc.

Hey! Need to add heat sometimes to get the rubber off or tar remover and then you can use a MF cutting pad. The best way for wheels is to protect them beforehand as it makes it easy to clean going forward

What is the best method to restore worn out tan leather for, say, a BMW E46 3 series?

If, in fact, the leather is “worn-out” then there is nothing that can be done from a restoration direction. You will need a pro interior person to re spray the missing color.

I wanted to make a joke about Alex’s M3, but I figured I’d better ask a question I actually want answered.
I understand the differences between a hand polish and a professional job with a power tool, but just HOW big is the difference? Looking to bring some shine back to my paint and ditch some swirls, without breaking the bank. Thanks!

Hand polish is not possible with a clear coated car. Polish, which is an abrasive, needs to be done with a machine on clear coat. (However, hand polishing or compounding single stage paint from years ago is possible but still not as efficient as by machine)
