Lexus' folding-hardtop IS-C hasn't even hit the market yet, and they're already coming out with aftermarket goodies for it. The first salvo comes courtesy of Toyota TRD, in the form of Lexus F-Sport. They've released a set of performance go-faster parts for the IS-C to coincide with the car's debut, intended to provide a more aggressive driving experience.
First and foremost are the gorgeous 19" cast alloy wheels. They come in staggered sizes, 19x8" front and 19x9" rear, and fit 225/35/19's front and 255/35/19 rear. Also optional (and pictured) are upgraded front and rear brakes, with cross-drilled 355mm front and 345mm rear rotors clamped by six piston (front) and four-piston (rear) calipers.
Also optional is an even fancier carbon-ceramic brake upgrade with 380mm front discs and 355mm rear discs, for all those hardcore track days you'll be doing in your IS250C. (Sarcasm duly noted.)
Then there's the F-sport exhaust, the F-sport suspension (which consists of lowering springs, Bilstein dampers, thicker swaybars and uprated swaybar bushings, rear subframe stabilizer... the list goes on.
Available for stick-shift IS250's are a TRD clutch with 15% greater clamping force and an F-sport short-throw shift kit. Rounding things off for the IS-C will be an F-sport cold air intake kit, as well as ground effects and a rear spoiler.
The best thing about all these performance parts? They're covered under a 12-month warranty, or the remainder of the car's comprehensive warranty. You can also roll the cost of the upgrades into your monthly payments since they're available through your local Lexus dealer. Prices haven't been announced, but since they're genuine Lexus parts, you can bet they'll be pricey.
