This Koenigsegg-Inspired Volvo Estate Slays 458s For Fun
Continuing our assertion that Volvo estates are super-cool, as well as being versatile and indestructible, here's a 1967 Volvo Amazon you have to see in action.
When Koenigsegg employee Mattias Vocks purchased the car, it was standard shitbox-spec. But that didn't last long. Breathing new life into the old girl, Vocks slammed a turbocharged 2.8-litre straight-6 engine under the bonnet, which produces up to 788bhp and 783lb ft of torque.
The original wagon's rear doors have also gone, there's a new rear differential, stopping power comes from Koenigsegg, and it has adjustable suspension. Its 5-speed manual has been changed for a 6-speed Getrag manual 'box to cope with the engine's mad power, meaning it'll now destroy a Ferrari 458 in a straight line. Pretty cool, huh?
But is it as cool as that V12 Lambo-powered Fiat 500 we showed you earlier?
