Ferrari Offers Mobile Downloads

The Ferrari 458 Italia is out and Ferrari wants everyone to know about it! So, I'm just going to post some pictures of the car that you need to see again for the 500th time. Just kidding, Ferrari is getting the word out in an unique way.

Needless to say, when a new Ferrari comes out it's a landmark event. Cue the meal time conversations, daydreaming, posters, etc.  Well actually scratch that last one - posters are so passé! Wallpapers are the new posters and Ferrari has a ton of them. Ferrari enthusiasts (who isn't one?) listen up!

As part of the launch for the new 458 Italia, Ferrari has made available the usual desktop images as well as (surprise!) iPhone and other mobile-optimized sizes. If that didn't get your attention, what's more is that there are also ringtones of the Italia in action. Ferrari made MP3 and special MP4 ringtone files for your iPhone that you can just drag into iTunes.

I know I downloaded them and you'll probably want to as well - you can do it by heading over to Ferrari's special launch page. The mobile space really is the new frontier for the automotive manufacturers and it's good to see them capitalizing on them. Who knows, maybe an iPhone game is next? For now though, enjoy!
