WRX without a drive shaft in f&f

Sooooooo I was watching Fast and furious (4th one not 1st) and in the end when the crash seen happens and Brian’s WRX gets totaled, it flips over and u see that it doesn’t have a driveshaft running to the rear. Guess it’s the first FWD converted WRX. Who knew Paul Walker (RIP) preferred a FWD over AWD.

The cars that get wrecked don’t generally run well, or at all

Did you expect them to actually wreck a fully working WRX?

Nah I expected them to make it look more realistic for us car guys that get that a car has a driveshaft. If they’re already totaling it, what’s wrong with keeping a driveshaft. Sure, they can remove the engine block and stuff like that because no ones gonna notice that, but the drive shaft is very noticeable when removed.
