1998 Mercedes Benz E55 AMG

The car made first kilometers in germany, since 2014 it is in Poland. I’m proud owner since 2017. Almost everything in this car is stock. 264k km. 354 HP and 524 Nm proved by dyno tests. 5.4 V8 engine and 5 speed gearbox. I remove speed limiter. Top speed i reach was 291 kmh GPS speed on german autobahn. Looks old but still have a lot of power and it is solid. Plans? Keep it in original condition.

It’s 19 years old, so i thing the plan is detailing and perfect condition. It’s my “fun-car” for the weekends when the weather is good ;) It’s better to keep it on original condition i thing.

Thanks! Many peoples from new audis a6 or a7 or beemers thinks it is old but shiny w210, but after quick race in city or highway they’re annoyed and ask wtf is under the bonnet ;) nice sleeper and troll.

How much did it cost?

24k PLN (Bought in poland) with full service history + winter tyres but was so dirty, and some details for example parktronic or sunroof wasnt working (repairs was ~ 1k PLN). Speed limiter remove - 1,3k PLN. I think it is the cheapest way to go ~ 300 kmh.

I always thought BMW looked better than Mercedes and I think they still beat them in that sense but man AMGs are something else and I respect those cars but I think I’ll stick with BMW, I’ve been bitten by the bug but wicked ride man

I prefer Mercedes, but couple of years ago I had e39 523i, and it was so nice. In my opinion e39 m5 is a lot better than w210, but m5 its more expensive to drive and the price for nice e39 m5 is highier. But w210 is not the best looking mercedes in the world :P e39 have perfect proportions and its a little bit more modern.
