Mazda Familia GT-AE
Mazda isn’t exactly the most famous manufacturer when it comes to rallying; sure, there was an RX-7 in the early years of Group B, but it wasn’t very successful. But they also raced a 323/Familia in Group A, without much success or anyone really knowing. The GT-AE was the hardcore version of the homologation GT-R. It had more than 200 horsepower, 4WD, some aerodynamic changes, and also lost 30 kilograms thanks to the removal of unnecessaries such as power windows, power locks, ABS and air conditioning.
