So apparently, new spy shots of the new Supra have been released, it's not bad. (The News #1 by Charles the Miator)

So as you can see, if your not blind at least, these are spy shots of the new Supra, and they are quite good. It’s starting to become clear that it’s using some styling cues from the FT-1.

The rear tail lights are starting to resemble the iconic tail lights from the mk4 Supra, and again, not bad.

I’m really excited for the revealing of this car, as I’m sure you guys are too. But don’t get your hopes too high, cause it’s possible that it’s just a Prius in Supra’s clothing.

So this is my new thing on Carthrottle, and it’s called The News by Charles the Miator (DEFINITELY not based off of Top Gear), and I’m really hoping that it becomes successful, and that you like it too.

I’ll be honest, I don’t like this car one bit.. If it’s a AWD Hybrid.. Supras are meant for RWD Straight Six, not something that’ll turn it into a cooler Prius

I think I heard somewhere that the new supra will be rear wheel drive and with a straight six because its developed with BMW, so its bound to be a fun car.

i think your idea to be sort of a news reporter is great, keep it up. I dont know about these spy shots though. Ive seen multiple spy shots of this car, whatever it is, and it doesnt look like the ft1 to me. There are way too many visual features they took away from the concept such as the mirror, gt86 style brake light, active aero, nose, etc

Thanks! And I will keep doing this. Thats sort of true, but I do hope that the sporty version of the Supra (which is part of their new sub-brand) will feauture a bit more of the things in the FT-1
