Hard Top Adjustment

Possibly preaching to the choir here but this has spared me a whole load of wind noise and rattling, and it took about 10 minutes!

Run out of adjustment on front hard top clamps?

Release hard top and back it away from the frankenbolts, use a phillips screwdriver to remove the csk screw in the side of the grabber housing and pivot open.
Use a 12mm socket to slacken off 2 bolts, this will let you move the grabber plate around.
I moved mine forwards a couple mm and it’s made a massive difference.

My NB sounded hellish above 70 before doing this, now I’m only getting sound from around the door window seals. I’m also hearing the engine clearer from driver’s seat.

Not saying this would work for everyone, but it’s made a massive difference for me!

This way worked for me a couple of years ago. When I took the roof off for summer I think it must have warped out of shape because no matter what I tried it would fit. I put 150kg of sand bags on it while it was on the car and that sorted it.
