An extremely popular tractor which Yugoslav people know too well - the IMT 539. The name IMT stands for Industry of Machinery and Tractors, and the Deluxe stands for the closed roof. There were 539s with an open roof as well. Anyways, it was a yugoslavian rip-off from a 60s Massey Fergusson 35X but yeah, the Massey did not have a Deluxe version. The IMT 539 is very easy to operate, maintain, is quite manouevrable and yeah, it’s good for beginner farmers. So, under the hood lies a mighty 2 and a half litre Inline-3 diesel engine which makes 40hp and enough torque to pull a couple of tonnes.
