At least Ford didn’t release these videos one at a time every Thursday..

I like how Ford just dumped all the videos about it all at once instead of making us wait for 2 eternities like Dodge.

The one thing I want to know is why do some rallyX cars have the backend much lower than the front like Travis Pastrana’s Dodge Dart (if he still drives it that is).

I know it helps acceleration in some cars but the fact that your racing on uneven terrain and sliding through corners is going to eventually bottom out the car.

It means that after jumps the front doesn’t crumple into the ground

They need the extra suspension travel to prevent the nose from touching the ground after a jump. That could be done by using stronger springs and shocks, but generally a stiff suspension setup on the front is not what you’d want on a rally car. The suspension on the rear usually is relatively stiff for several reasons (which I’m not going to list here), so they don’t need too much travel.
You see similar wheel arches on the WRC cars as well, albeit not as distinct there.
