The 10 Best User-Generated Blog Posts On CT Last Week

You guys have been creating awesome blog posts again this week, covering everything from Jeep Wrangler ownership to how to make money buying future classics. Here are some of our favourite creations

We have to give a tip of the hat to CTzen Dylan Smit, who has been producing loads of consistently awesome content. If you have any interest in motorsport whatsoever, you have to give him a follow, as his posts showcase some of the coolest race cars ever to hit the tarmac.

Above is one of his more popular posts, which looks at the Alfa Romeo 185T. It competed in Formula 1 in the 80s, and was described by one of its drivers as the worst car he’d ever driven!

Earlier this week I wrote a UK-based article about track day cars for any budget. That inspired Mr. CSL to write a US-focused version, looking at cars that are readily available on that side of the pond.

So, no matter how many dollars you have in the bank, now you know what your next track weapon should be!

Us petrolheads love our cars, and generally that means we treat them with respect. But it’s not always the case, and many people leave the inside of their cars looking messier than a student’s bedroom.

Schlawyaya has written a comprehensive guide on what you should keep in your car, from organisers to safety equipment and everything in between. Stay safe, and keep your car tidy!

Despite having the name Nissan 240SX this CTzen actually drives a wicked little Toyota Starlet that’s prepped for racing in an amateur racing series called ‘Car Slalom’.

The post gives a short overview of the series, and the intriguing way in which the team ensured the car’s power to weight ratio was within regulations!

It’s arguably the most famous Ferrari ever created, but how much do you really know about the 250 GTO? Steve Buscemi continued his impressive run of creating quality content by writing up a detailed history of this gorgeous Prancing Horse.

A short post here, but I felt it was worth sharing because everyone loves to see cool cars braving the snow. Dean_wrx22 joined up with some of his friends to get sideways in the white stuff, and shared a bunch of pictures. Enjoy!

Back to the longform content now, thanks to this great post from Jacob Boucher highlighting all the wicked cars Americans miss out on because of that silly 25 year import rule. It’s an awesome list, covering crazy British track cars, awesome off roaders and luxury exotics. Sorry, ‘Murica!

A 1994 Jeep Wrangler might not sound like your average first car, but that’s exactly what John Paul Tapp picked up after passing his driving test. Here he highlights the good, the bad and the ugly after owning his 4x4 for one year.

If you’ve heard people talk about dog ring gearboxes but haven’t known what they’re talking about, here’s the perfect explanation. Through clear descriptions and easy to understand diagrams, Wheel Nuts explains how these gearboxes work without a synchromesh.

We all like to make a bit of money, and when we can make money by buying a cool car then all the better. Freddie Skeates has put together a great list of cars that you should buy this year before prices go through the roof. There’s everything from JDM legends to British exotics, so whatever your tastes Freddie should be able to make you money!

Thanks for all the amazing content you guys continue to make. Remember to use #blogpost somewhere in your article to make it easier for us to find for these roundups!

Thank you Mr. Cassey.

Tomorrow (February 6th) is my birthday, and this means a whole lot.
You’ll have to do without my daily articles for a while, as school starts on Monday, but I’ll be sure to post at least three a week.

Happy birthday bro! I should really get to making some articles, but school’s started now, so it will be a bit difficult to get some down. I’ll try though!
