It’s a given that these cars won’t have a manual transmission. Cars like these aren’t as spendy as the comparable muscle/pony cars. Big engines and big dimensions mean autocrossing will be hard, so cruiser or drag racing build, maybe rally for poops and giggles. This option looks pretty good, they are a bit underrated in my opinion…
Old Muscle/Pony Car
This option is the most desired for but also expensive and rare. Finding one of these with a stick shift will be a bit difficult and expensive if what I’ve seen on Craigslist is a good indicator. I might have to settle with an automatic model for this category. However, the idea of a late 70’s Camaro with an auto is kind of tempting…

Having two 4x4 vehicles would be cool, but having a 4x4 and a fast car might be cooler.

It’s a car that’s not too big with a pickup bed, best of both worlds.

There’s a guy in my town and that is literally him. He’s kinda weird though. It’s supposed to be a replica of the Transformers movie with like paint to look like rust and and stuff.

Those Datsun 240Z’s are pretty brilliant man. Sure maybe you will have something with a similar engine as your daily, but comparing a 240Z to a truck based on that isn’t fair at all. They are fantastic little cars with tons of potential for mods and can be quite reliable at the same time.
For a sports car, they are. But my inner drag racer is still there, so I might get a big block truck haha
plus while I do like the 240Z, they are pretty rare in my area…

The 70s Camaros are amazing. They got me into Camaros; and Bumblebee.
Thing is, I remember in the first movie, the kid wanted something like a Porsche but accepted the Camaro. He probably knew that the Camaro was built during the smog years lol
