Since we've been driving the incredibly light Zenos E10 S this week, it got us thinking about cars with incredible power-to-weight ratios. Here's a list of 10 such cars that combine power and lightness to devastating effect
Zenos E 10 R - 350bhp, 700kg = 500bhp/tonne
Porsche 918 Weissach Package - 886bhp, 1640kg = 540bhp/tonne
Caterham 620R - 310bhp, 572kg = 568bhp/tonne

I always thought the Koenigseggeggeggegg had 1000hp per ton, hence the One:1 name, maybe I guess that figure was a little ambitions!
I thought so too, possibly 1341kg was the dry weight.
It is but bhp seems to be slightly different than hp/PS

It’s one:one if you use PS, but we use BHP so it’s slightly off. Would’ve looked a bit odd to change the figure just for that so went for consistency!
In the Metric System and hp it has 1360 hp to 1360 kg
So the One:1 isn’t actually, One:1 and the venom dose actually have a perfect power to weight? Well then.
It is One Has 1360 PS, which is another way to measure power.

When I find out that half of these are British
And only one of the British has an interior.

Why is bhp always a bit less than hp/PS ?

for the same reason that measures in inches are always smaller than measures in centimeters. bhp and hp are different units
BHP an imperial unit of power, equal to one horsepower but used only as a measure of the power available at the shaft of an engine.
CHP Engine horsepower is measured at the flywheel
PS or Pferdestärke (horse-strength in German)measurement of engine power in 1992. One PS is about 98.6% of a brake horsepower – PS is sometimes referred to as ‘metric horsepower’.
bhp = hp= chp
1 Ps= 0.98631997 hp/chp/bhp
Whp is power at the wheels… bhp = hp= chp minus the drive train loss.
1 bhp /hp/ chp = 0.74570000 KW
Pagani Huayra BC: 789bhp, 1280kgs. That’s 616bhp/tonne.
New Venom: 1451 BHP, 1244 KG = 1166 BHP per tonne!
