The New A90 Toyota Supra Will Make Its First Public Appearance Next Week

A camouflaged pre-production prototype Supra will be at the Goodwood Festival of Speed next weekend

If you’re itching to finally see the new Toyota Supra, we have some good and bad news.

Let’s start with the good news: Toyota Europe announced on Twitter than the new sports car - which is being referred to by the automotive giant as ‘A90’ - will be at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, which takes place from 12 - 15 July.

Excited? So are we. But now for the bad news: it’ll be a pre-production prototype still wearing some - admittedly very cool-looking - camouflage. We almost feel like we’re being deliberately teased at this point.

However, unlike the test mules we’ve seen thus far, the Goodwood appearance should allow for some brilliant up-close access for the public. And while Toyota is yet to confirm this, the A90 could well be running up the famous hill climb over the weekend.

Want to see the car without camo? There’ll be a bit of a wait: we’re not expecting to see the car in all its glory until the Detroit Auto Show next year.
