Remember a couple of weeks ago when we saw a Dodge Demon get its backside handed to it by a Tesla Model S P100D? Well, the YouTubers who ran that little experiment have waded back in for another try… and this time, the Demon is on fresh drag radial tyres.

DragTimes refitted the Demon, which for this video is still running on regular unleaded fuel in the 808bhp ECU mode, with the original equipment drag radial rubber, as opposed to the heavily worn aftermarket race tyres used last time out.

The results are a lot closer, now, with the Demon even taking the spoils at higher speeds. The only exception is the standing start, where the P100D still makes the frantically wheelspinning Demon look a bit silly.

We don’t get told how much charge the Tesla is running on, though, and we know it’s faster the more charge it has on board. DragTimes: if you’re reading this, let us know next time!
