In many ways it's just cruel to pit the mountain of mass and torque that is the Tesla Model X against an ordinary muscle car, but don't let that stop you watching
In what has to be one of the most predictable but still fascinating (ahem) drag races ever staged, two buddies decided to have a tug of war between their Chevrolet Camaro with a small block 350 engine… and a Tesla Model X.
It’s a bit like putting a baby sloth into a fight with a territorial male Silverback Gorilla. Like dropping Nemo into a small tank with a hungry piranha. There was only ever going to be one winner, but the way the Model X takes the strain effortlessly and then simply walks away with it is something.
We know the Model X is damn fast. Of course, as soon as one car starts spinning its wheels in these battles, it’s game over, but the Camaro… well, it never had the slightest chance. Brutal.

Someone needs to do this with rwd model s and a trackhawk… Then you could tell the same about the trackhawk. Tesla is just an ugly looking electric crapbox with no fun, the have to put stuff like 500hp awd and weird driving modes just for it to be considered fun (only for a while tho) while with ICE you can have fun with 50hp twingo… And the fun will last a long time. With ICE cars every single mash of throttle not only gives you acceleration, but also the satisfaction of making some noise and hurting the enviromentalists.

Pitting a AWD electric car vs a muscle car from the ‘80s is interesting. I’d still rather have the Camaro, though.
Its the worst Camaro ever made and so it is easier to defeat…..they should’ve tried it with 2016 Camaro ZL1 or any COPO Camaroes….
