Want a shot at winning a special edition Aston Martin Vanquish for £20? Time is running out on the charity auction to end all charity auctions.

Earlier this year Aston Martin gifted one of just 10 examples of the Vanquish S Red Arrows Edition to the RAF Benevolent Fund, a charity that looks after more than 60,000 current and former members of the RAF if they need help.

That car, number 10 of 10 that were each numbered and linked with their matching aircraft and pilot from the nine-plus-one-man Red Arrows aerobatics display team, has been on the raffle table all summer and autumn long.

Painted in Eclat Red to match the Red Arrows Hawk aircraft, the £275,000 car really will be won by one random £20 raffle ticket holder. The only stipulation is that you have to live in the UK and be 16 or over.

There are matching Red Arrows helmets with bespoke storage compartments in the rear seats, and several of the console switches have been swapped for fighter-style ones. Because warplane. I mean racecar. I mean special edition raffle prize.

All the usual Vanquish S stats are present and correct. A beefy 595bhp comes from the normally-aspirated V12, which will carry the car on to 201mph.

The raffle closes on 1 December – that’s just eight days away. The draw is a week later on 8 December. As the saying goes, you’ve got to be in it to win it. If you want in, tickets are here.
