This year has been a rough one for presenters of Amazon’s hit motoring show The Grand Tour. Not too long ago, Richard Hammond wrecked a Rimac Concept One while filming for the show, landing him in the hospital with a fractured knee.

Now, another one of the show’s celebrity presenters has ended up in a hospital bed. This time, it’s Jeremy Clarkson.

Not the sort of bangles I usually choose on holiday

The 57-year old presenter was vacationing on the Spanish island of Mallorca when he was taken to the hospital with symptoms of severe pneumonia. Clarkson updated fans of his condition via Twitter and Instagram (post shown above).

According to Clarkson himself, his condition seems to be pretty serious, as he is currently in a wheelchair. It appears as though the beloved petrolhead will be out of commission for quite some time. At least Jezza hasn’t lost his legendary sense of humour, though.

The only functioning member of the Grand Tour team right now. God help us.
