The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon Has Been On A Diet

Dodge has released a new teaser video for its incoming SRT Demon, revealing that it's undergone some kind of weight loss programme

When Dodge announced the incoming Challenger SRT Demon last week, the company also revealed that no less than 12 teasers trailers would be released for the car in total.

The first was a bit weird and involved some sort of scary, demonic robot thing, but the second is - thankfully - a little more clear. It depicts the Demon on a big set of scales, with a some flashy graphics appearing followed by a needle showing some sort of weight loss.

Yep, that’s right, the Demon has been on a diet, and will apparently be 90kg lighter than the Hellcat.

The car is expected to be revealed in full at the New York Auto Show in April.

Before weight reduction “OK, it’s 4171 lbs”
After weight reduction “Wow, not it’s only 4000 lbs!”

my bet
-weight reduction (OV)
-AWD (it lights up the front axle in add?)
-wide body (somewhere between rocket bunny fenders and where it is now)
-more power (somehow LOL)

Tell me I’m not the only one who thinks “demon” is a bit boring compared to “hellcat”? Could have done a lot better. I know I know it was used with the dart ages ago but honestly not the strongest naming imo. Kinda made me cringe when I first saw it…

“Hey hon, I’m taking the kids to school!”
“Wait, use my car!”
“Nah, I’ll take the Demon.”
<<In school>>
“Today daddy drove us in the Demon…”

Like, seriously, you couldn’t have thought of a better name?
Well, it better have 1000hp, 0-60 time faster than a tesla, AWD, and a proper clutch or else I’m calling copypaste.

I think they used it because it’s been used before for their top model muscle cars
