Here's Terrifying Footage Of Someone Trying To Escape A Wildfire By Pick-Up Truck

Part of Tennessee was turned into a hellish inferno earlier this week, as wildfires gripped the eastern part of the state in the Rocky Mountains. Giving an insight into just how terrifying it was for those on the ground, Michael Luciano from Gatlinburg posted this footage of him and a friend attempting to escape through the wildfires to safety. Needless to say, it’s proper heart in mouth stuff.

According to the Washington Post, the fires claimed the lives of seven, a number likely to rise as there are still people missing. Around 700 homes have been destroyed by the blaze, which is thought to have been started deliberately.
