You’re looking at the latest bonkers Lister project: a soft-top version of its LFT-666 that blends an Autobahn-smashing top speed with enough headroom for even the very biggest of hats. A natural combination, surely.

The sun-seeker’s ideal modified Jaguar F-Type SVR has been spun off from the coupe version and maintains its 666bhp supercharged V8. The sprint from stationary to 62mph takes ‘just over three seconds’ while the added weight of the drop-top takes 3mph from the top speed, but we’re fairly sure you’ll be able to cope with ‘at least 205mph’.

There’s carbonfibre aplenty in the shape of bumpers and the splitter, which is sandwiched by a new exhaust system designed specifically for convertibles. That, we’re excited to say, means it’ll be desperately, wonderfully antisocial.

The wheels, tyres and brakes are carried over from the hard-top. All of them are suitably massive, so for the love of God don’t go anywhere near kerbs.

Just 10 LFT-Cs will be made, versus 99 LFT-666s. They’ll be ready for summer, says the firm, and if you want one (and of course you do) and can afford it (oh) then you’ll need to find £139,000. Each will be marked out by a solid silver plaque on the engine cover.

Meanwhile, the 200mph F-Pace-based Lister LFP will also launch this year. It’s an SUV with the usual lovely Lister touches like quilted leather seats with yellow contrasting stitching, Lister logos, Alcantara and carbonfibre.
