What Car Would You Buy For The Price Of A Porsche Office Chair?

I've just received an email telling me about a Porsche office chair that costs £4000! And while I'm sure it's amazing to sit on, I'd much sooner spend my money on an actual car - what would you buy?

This is a desk chair with a used car’s price tag. The Porsche office chair costs £4000 ($5690) and comes with the following features:

Original 4-way Plus sports seat as featured in the current Porsche 911. Continuous seat height adjustment. Electrical backrest adjuster powered by rechargeable battery. Adjustable armrests. With hook for jacket on rear and Porsche Crest emblazoned on the head section. Seat surface and armrests made of Porsche original Black vehicle interior leather. Shell made of Grey/Silver composite. Hub base with 5 castors for optimum comfort on both hard and soft floors. Weight: 35 kg.

While I’m sure that Porsche 918/911 Turbo owners will gladly blow that amount on office equipment, people like us in the real world would much rather spend the same amount of money (£4000/$5690) on a used car.

My money would go on an average mileage 2003/04 Nissan 350Z for around £4000. For that cash, I’d get a sweet 3.5-litre V6 with 276bhp, a 0-60mph time of 5.9 seconds and a top speed of 155mph. Alternatively, I’d simply buy three Mk1 MX-5s and live happily ever after.
