Nice one, Kyle! This isn’t the first time we’ve seen an epic save from Busch, and here he is preventing a massive smash with another brilliant example of car control. Hero!

If NASCAR’s primarily do left-hand turns, does that mean that they’re doing huge donuts?

What’s more boring than watching a NASCAR race?…Watching a NASCAR PRACTICE race.

If NASCAR is boring, then the Miata is fast.

He is truly an amazing driver. In fact, too good, he wins too much. Which kind of makes NASCAR boring. The end of the race battles are intense but you kind of already know who’s gonna win.

I’m sorry, but you are not correct.

true, and they need to make him stop racing in xfinity races. stealing wins away from the young guys? come on dude, that’s not impressive

excellent save, but why did he flick the steering wheel like that in the first place (1:35 in the video), the car looks perfectly stable on the outside cam until he does that.

Kansas has always been quite a bumpy track, so it was likely that he went over a bump, and that’s what caused the car to jump out from under him. If you watch the old races at Daytona before they repaved it, you’d see all 43 drivers turning the wheel both ways whilst turning and remaining flat out at 190+mph.

Infact at 1:36, you see there’s a little white/grey mark on the track. That’s the bump, you can even see the car move slightly and hear the engine note change as he goes over it

This is the reason I, even tho I’m Indian, like NASCAR with track circuits!!! It’s the last bastion of pure motorsports, where skill and technology are balanced. Shame that half of the world can’t watch it :’(.

Apparently turning left is difficult

For a country that struggles with a concept of a manual gear shift? Damn near impossible.
In all seriousness - you’re plain wrong.

If its so easy then you should show us all how its done.

Well, when you have 800whp, RWD, No TCS, ABS, or Stability Control. Plus, only 700lbs of downforce, which translates to next to no rear grip. Plus, the track is newly repaved, so the track is smooth, which also translates to no grip.

Did anyone else think of the “Turn right to go left” scene? I think they’re trying to do a live action remake.
