If you’ve just chucked down the best part of $100k on a beastly new Dodge Viper, you probably want to make sure it’s pretty exclusive. This incredible new customisation program makes sure that’s the case thanks to a quite staggering array of options.

The 1 of 1 program offers 8000 hand-painted exterior colours, 24,000 custom stripes, 10 wheel options, 16 interior trims, six aero packages, and a bunch of additional extras. And all of it is hand-built, just for you - there’s even a special ‘concierge’ service that lets you follow the build of your car from start to finish, thanks to photos taken during the build, and updates from engineers and assorted Dodge personnel. And all this comes at no extra cost to your GTC model.

Customers will be sent a paint chip with their custom colour, which they can refuse if they’re not happy. Once the design is decided, Dodge will deliver a 1:18-scale model of the customer’s car. If they’re happy with what they see, Dodge locks that specification for the rest of the year, which means no other customer can choose the same combination.

If there’s one thing history has taught us, it’s that money can’t buy you taste, so is Dodge worried about customers abusing the system? Not at all! SRT CEO Tim Kuniskis told Autoblog “We’ll let ‘em build some ugly cars!”

If the GTC’s $94,995 is a little bit out of your price range, fret not. Dodge will post a digital car configuration tool online soon, which should allow for endless awesome creations. The first orders can be placed in February, with first deliveries to be made shortly after.
