SR66 Design's Audi R8 Spyder is a real street weapon!

Polish tuner and body kit producer SR66 Design recently designed a completely new body kit for the first generation of the Audi R8 Spyder. Applying a new, complex wide body for this supercar, that was produced from 2005 till 2015 without doubt refreshes the not-so-young silhouette of the Audi’s exotic. Said basically, everything has been changed here except the doors and roof.

Changed include: completely new front & rear bumpers, hood (bonnet for all you UK-based guys), front fenders, rear fender panels (wings), side skirts and some smaller parts as well - wrapped with carbon fiber - front bumper lip, side skirts extensions and a huge Lamborghini SV-inspired diffuser.

When looking at the car itself, you will also notice an RS-inspired honeycomb grille and a big-ass, rear frame-mounted wing for maximum downforce.

Regardless to fact that it’s a cabrio (Spyder) SR66 Design managed to achieve that true racing look & feeling. Car looks like it’s escaped a track day. R8 was inspired by newer models from Audi palette, followed by the newest LMS track versions of the super-car. From a curvy and subtle car it became a mean-looking, sharp-edged, furious street weapon.

What’s worth mentioning, the #001 car visible on the pictures also features a fully custom alcantara & carbon based interior with some RS racing seats, AccuAir EndoCVT air suspension as well some custom-tweaked titanium exhaust from Quicksilver. All of that wrapped in some Audi-inspired racing-style wrapping. Audi R8 currently sits on 19” OZ Racing rims equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport’s tires.
