Despite the incredible damage to this BMW, its professional footballer driver escaped unhurt
These pictures are the result of a bizarre crash in which South African footballer Rooi Mahamutsa (of the Orlando Pirates) lost control of his BMW E93 3-series on a wet road in Marlboro, Johannesburg.
The Orlando Pirates defender is believed to have been driving too quickly when the car span out, resulting in a crash barrier penetrating the BMW's rear-end and exiting through the front windscreen.
In what looks like a life-ending incident, the footballer escaped without injury, despite the incredible damage. Were Mahamutsa not a footballer, we'd recommend him putting his life savings on the lotto. May we be the first to say: 'that'll buff out...'
