My #cannonballcar Ford Crown Victoria P71 Police Interceptor

I chose the Crown Victoria Police Interceptor because
A) Prices start at around $1000 for working examples
B) They have decent performance, hitting 0-60 in around 7.5 seconds
C) Cops may think that you are a cop, and not pull you over for driving fast
D) The cop version has an external oil cooler, larger oil capacity, a transmission cooler, and lots of other cop-spec goodies to make sure the car can deal with lots of constant hard driving over a long period of time, without overheating.
E) Some police Crown Vics have bulletproof door panels fitted as a factory option, which may come in handy if you get lost in a bad neighbourhood.

Exterior

All I would do with the exterior is fix any scratches and minor dents that a retired cop car would have, then add a Cetina pushbar, like the car shown above. I would also reinstall the blue strobe lights, so I won’t be held up by traffic. Very much illegal, but so is trying to drive across a country as quickly as possible, and its all hypothetical. Sirens and PA systems are often left installed on the car.

Interior

Just a radar detector

Performance

I’d install a better air filter, and remove the catalytic converters.
