Watch As This Crash-Damaged X5 Is Turned Into An Open-Top Badass

While they’re more than capable enough off-road, very few X5s will ever venture away from the tarmac. But the car you’re looking at here is no ordinary X5.

It’s clearly had a hard life. It looks like it’s been in at least one accident, and left to rot for some time. But rather than let it die in a scrap yard, these guys hacked the roof off, welded in a roll cage and fitted some hilariously big all-terrain tyres.

The results are, we’re sure you’ll agree, awesome. Sure, you’re going to need a shower to get all the mud off after you’ve been for a hoon, but how much fun does this thing look??
