Here's The Porsche 919 Tribute Casually Cruising The Streets Of New York

Before conquering Spa-Francorchamps, Porsche's evolved 919 went for a more gentle drive in New York City

The ‘Tribute’ tour of Porsche’s now semi-retired 919 doesn’t only involve smashing circuit records. Just before its outing at Spa-Francorchamps - which saw the car snatch the outright record away from Lewis Hamilton and his Mercedes F1 car - Porsche sent the car around the streets of New York City for a more gentle run.

The run looks to have been done using a car without the ‘evo’ modifications used to conquer Spa - it doesn’t have the reshaped front end, lower and wider side skirts nor the larger rear wing - but it still looks pretty badass rolling around the Big Apple.
