As Polyphony Digital’s relentless padding of Gran Turismo Sport’s content continues, the firm has released one of its most enticing patches. Update 1.18 contains a variety of new additions, but there’s one we’d like to put particular emphasis on: the Toyota GR Supra Racing Concept. Oh yes.

But, Toyota’s Geneva show-stopper isn’t the only thing stuffed into the update’s 1.8GB of data. On the track front, there’s a new layout for Dragon Tail called ‘Gardens’, a 4.3km track which Polyphony describes as being “more technical in nature compared to the Seaside version.”

Meanwhile, there are three new events in the form of:

  • Compétition de France (Beginner League)
  • Gr. B Rallycross (Amateur League)
  • Vision Gran Turismo Trophy (Professional League)

No prizes for guessing which cars you can drive in each.

Finally, there are a variety of new environments for the ‘Scapes’ photography element of the game, in the form of some BMW-related backgrounds and museum, plus the particularly pretty-looking ‘Hawaii Islands’ set of spots.

The update is available to download now.
